As our personal computing devices get ever smaller, it gets harder and harder to fit information
onto their screens. One solution to this growing problem is the use of auditory or sound-based interfaces for
representing information. Auditory interfaces are screen- and device-size independent and therefore hold much
promise for addressing this interface design issue. |

To learn more, we went in search of individuals with first hand experience in navigating both applications
and day-to-day life without visual cues. We wanted to know how they managed time, how they
interacted with technology, and what might be missing. The videos below demonstrate current auditory
interface challenges and problems along with thoughts and recommendations about what would make
them better. |
